Just thought anyone who reads this should know that this poem was submitted to Poetry.com for a recent poetry contest and I recieved a letter in the mail today (March 24, 2001) stating it has been carefully reviewed and dicussed and will be submitted to the semi-finals.

No matter how down you get
You can still feel good!
Like when it's raining and pouring
You don't alway need a hood!
Cause even on rainy days
The sun can still shine through!
So if you're feeling alone
Grab some pictures or pick up the phone!
Because even if there is distance in between
There are memories to be shared ands seen!
Cause even on rainy days
The sun can still shine through!
If there is anything you ever need
I will always be there in your heart!
And if you ever miss me, just search
You'll find that we are never truly apart!
